The State Duma in the third reading adopted a draft law on increasing the amount of benefits for temporary disability and in connection with maternity.
If the draft law is approved by the Federation Council and signed by the President of the Russian Federation, then started from February 1, 2023, new amounts of benefits will begin to operate:

The one-time allowance at the birth of a child is adjusted according to index by the level of actual inflation. And the amount of benefits for temporary disability and for the care of a child under 1.5 years depends on the amount of the average earnings of the insured person for 2 calendar years preceding the year of occurrence of the insured event.
Those individuals who perform work or provide services on the basis of a civil law contract will also be able to receive benefits.
Please be reminded that starting from January 1 of the next year, a single-family income supplement will be in effect. This benefit combines the following social payments:

The allowance can be received for each child in the family, but only if the average per capita income of the family is below one regional subsistence minimum per person.
Maternity benefits will be determined based on the subsistence minimum of the able-bodied population. The allowance for each child will be determined based on the subsistence minimum for children. The specific amount of the allowance will depend on the level of family income.
The amount of the allowance will be calculated as 50%, 75% or 100% of the regional subsistence minimum per child.
To receive benefits, you need to make an application and send it personally to the Social Fund or through the State Services portal. It will be enough to submit one application for several children.
