From April 18 to December 31, 2025, Russians will be able to obtain Kazakhstan’s Individual Identification Number (IIN) through the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia. The service is available only to certain categories of applicants.

How to get?
- Prepare the documents: application (form issued at the consulate) and foreign passport (original + copy).
- Submit the application in person to the embassy or consulate of Kazakhstan in Russia.
- Receive the IIN within 1 business day (excluding the day of submission).

- Investors: investment contract or recommendation of government agencies
- Spouses of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan: marriage certificate (legalized + translation)
- Children: birth certificate + passport of a parent who is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Heirs: death certificate of the deceased + inheritance documents
- Digital Nomads: IT degree or a document appointing a manager of an IT company
