From April 8 to 10, 2026, St. Petersburg hosted the X International Labor Forum — one of the most significant events in the field of employment, human capital, and labor relations across Eurasia. The forum was organized by the Government of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg State University, the IPA CIS, and the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center, with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. The event brought together around 10,000 participants. The business program featured over 150 events across 13 thematic areas.
Why Participation in the Labor Forum Is an Important Step for Acsour
Acsour is a company providing services in accounting, tax, legal, and HR support. Participating in the Labor Forum is not just a protocol event for us — it is an opportunity to stay at the forefront of professional change, exchange experiences with colleagues, and apply the knowledge gained to our daily work with clients. Here are the key themes that proved most significant for us:
1. Transformation of the Labor Market: A Look at 2030–2040
The core theme of the forum was the future of the world of work on the horizon of 2030–2040. Discussions centered on the worker, fair working conditions, and a human-centric approach. Participants spoke about long-term forecasts, the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on professions and skills, and ways to overcome labor shortages. For Acsour, this is an opportunity to think several steps ahead: to understand which specialists and competencies will be in demand, and to begin shaping personnel development strategies for ourselves and our clients.

2. The Legal Framework of Labor Relations in Modern Conditions
Wide-ranging discussions addressed labor relations regulation, from the legal nuances of platform employment to improving legal mechanisms and the role of mediation in labor disputes. For our lawyers and labor law consultants, this was a valuable source of up-to-date information on evolving approaches to new forms of employment and conflict resolution — knowledge we apply daily in our work.

3. Modern HR Administration and HR Technologies
A significant part of the program was dedicated to HR technologies, digital solutions, and productivity enhancement. Acsour’s specialists in HR administration noted advanced approaches to adapting HR processes to new challenges, effective methods for finding and retaining employees, and areas for digital transformation of HR records.
