New rules of control over invited foreign employees will become operational from 16 January 2019.
The company will now be accountable for:
the foreign employee complying with the duration of his/her stay and objective of his/her arrival;
the foreign employee departing from Russia on time.
If the employee violates the timeframes of or rules for his/her stay in Russia, the company that invited him/her will face a fine ranging from RUB 400,000 to RUB 500,000.
It has not been clarified how the employer should control the movements of its foreign employees. Acsour will advise you of any amendments to migration laws.
