The Russian Labour Code has been amended to afford employees an opportunity to take subsidized days off to undergo a standard medical examination.
A day off can be granted every three years to undergo a medical examination, with pre-retirees and working retirees being able to take two days off a year for their health assessments. The guarantees are established by the new article 185.1 of the Labour Code.
