The public holiday calendar for 2023 has been approved

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the occupational calendar for 2023.

According to the approved calendar, the following holiday periods are set for the next year:

  • From January 1st to January 8th;
  • From February 23rd to February 26th;
  • March 8th;
  • May 1st;
  • From May 6th to May 9th;
  • From June 10th to June 12th;
  • From November 4th to November 6th.

Therefore, the New Year holidays will last 8 days, and Saturday, December 31, 2022 will fall on a day off. The duration of rest in May will be 5 days: on May 1st and from May 6th to May 9th.

Three days of rest have been approved in connection with the celebration of Russia Day (from June 10th to June 12th) and National Unity Day (from November 4th to November 6th). One day of rest falls on Wednesday – March 8th and Monday May 1st. The holiday dedicated to the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day will be long, which will be 4 days (from February 23rd to February 26th).
