The Chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation has established new requirements that individuals should comply with when crossing the border of the Russian Federation. According to the text of the Decree, foreign citizens should inform the authorities of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights (Russian acronym – Rospotrebnadzor) when entering the Russian Federation that they do not have a coronavirus infection and submit a medical document (in Russian or English) confirming the laboratory results. The test should be passed not earlier than 3 calendar days before arrival in Russia. Also, foreigners have to submit medical documents on the presence of immunoglobulin antibodies to the specified disease in the organism (if available). If there are no negative takes of tests for COVID-19, it will be possible to pass the corresponding test within three calendar days in the Russian Federation.
In cases when the company organizes a business trip, it is necessary to inform employees traveling abroad for both personal and work-related purposes about the need to pass tests. If the test results are positive, such employees should comply with the requirements of self-isolation at their place of residence until they recover and receive negative takes of the coronavirus test by PCR method.
