Abolition of duties for electronic state registration

A law on the free-of-charge registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs when documents are filed in electronic form will come into effect from 1 January 2019.

These amendments will concern the registration of:

  • legal entities (the duty is currently RUB 4,000);
  • changes made to constituent documents and a company’s liquidation other than through bankruptcy procedures (the duty is now RUB 800);
  • an individual as an individual entrepreneur (now RUB 800 now); and
  • the ceasing of an individual entrepreneur’s operations (now RUB 160).
