From April 18 to December 31, 2025, Russians will be able to obtain Kazakhstan’s Individual Identification Number (IIN) through the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia. The service is available only to certain categories of applicants.
Who can obtain an IIN?
Potential investors
Participants in the circulation of goods (labeling and traceability)
Spouses of citizens of Kazakhstan
Children under 16 whose parents are citizens of the RK
Heirs
Participants programs" Digital Nomad Residency/Visa"
Persons with disabilities or over 65 years old
Pesticide manufacturers
Heads of legal entities registered in Kazakhstan
How to get?
Prepare the documents: application (form issued at the consulate) and foreign passport (original + copy).
Submit the application in person to the embassy or consulate of Kazakhstan in Russia.
Receive the IIN within 1 business day (excluding the day of submission).
Additional documents (by categories):
Investors: investment contract or recommendation of government agencies
Spouses of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan: marriage certificate (legalized + translation)
Children: birth certificate + passport of a parent who is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Heirs: death certificate of the deceased + inheritance documents
Digital Nomads: IT degree or a document appointing a manager of an IT company
Important!
Documents in a foreign language require a notarized translation.
Documents must be legalized or have an apostille.
If the document package is incomplete, they will be denied at the reception.
